Palm Beach area where Indian Trail Grove would add 4,000 new homes.

Florida Sun-Sentinel correspondent Skyler Swisher reports that GL Homes' highly-contested Indian Trail Grove master plan would add nearly 4,000 new homes on nearly 4,900 acres west of Riviera Beach near the JW Corbett Wildlife Management Area.

Swisher notes that the proposal calls for a mixture of low-, medium- and high-density housing, along with 350,000 square feet in commercial and office space. Swisher writes:

If approved, the earliest construction start date would be in three years, but it could be longer depending on the economy, said Larry Portnoy, vice president for the Sunrise-based developer GL Homes.
