Taylor Morrison launched The Preserve at Laureate Park, the first gated community in the Laureate Park residential development in Lake Nona’s Medical City, outside Orlando, reports Anjali Fluker, senior staff writer for the Orlando Business Journal.
The community appears to be planned for 151 larger home lots, Fluker writes. The Preserve is part of what’s being called “Phase 6” of Laureate Park in Lake Nona, which according to city documents will feature a total of 886 residences, including 747 single-family homes and 139 town homes along with open space and a bicycle/trail network.
Here are some other news and notes happening on the residential side of Lake Nona:
-Laureate Park sold its 1,000th home in March.
-VillageWalk at Lake Nona is now completely sold out.
-Landon House started pre-leasing the first of its 280 apartments on April 1 just across the street from the first phase of the $50 million Lake Nona Town Center. The complex features open floor plans in one-, two- and three-bedroom units with high-end finishes and resort-style amenities. Construction began on the complex in May 2015.
