Just six months after stealing the show at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, the Chinese-built EHang 184 is ready for action.

The Nevada Institute for Autonomous Systems and the Governor's Office of Economic Development just approved the unmanned aerial vehicle to start testing its capabilities in the skies over the state. The company now just awaits full approval by the Federal Aviation Authority.

In its current state, EHang 184 is capable of reaching heights of 11,500 feet and speeds of 63 miles per hour, carrying passengers on trips up to 23 minutes.
