Crain's Cleveland Business' Stan Bullard reports on a shift in strategy by Drees Homes in the Cleveland-Akron area, as the builder moves away from smaller, piecemeal land deals and toward traditional, expansive suburban communities.

Bullard sat down with Drees' new Northeast Ohio division president Jen Zabkar to talk about the shift.

That is accompanied by a panoply of offerings that allow it to serve different buyers, from move-up buyers to first-time buyers as well as downsizing baby boomers.
