The Cincinnati Business Courier's Tom Demeroplis reports on Karvoto, a new development and construction company that will soon break ground on Hillman Point OTR, a mix of renovated and newly built town homes in the Over the Rhine area of Cincinnati

Karvato will renovate four buildings and build five new townhomes. Each home will be fully equipped with 3.5 bathrooms, an open main floor, a gourmet kitchen, with a "smart waiter" for each level. The homes will range in size from 2.050 square feet to over 2,700 square feet, with prices between $500,000 and $600,000.

Rob Bennett, president of Karvoto, said the goal is to break ground on the new development, called Hillman Point OTR, at the first of the year. Bennett said he and his brother, Luke, have been doing a lot of construction work in Over-the-Rhine and wanted to grow a development company from their contracting company, Custom Carving Source.

"We know the buildings and have a passion for this kind of work,”
Rob Bennett told me.
