Dallas-based developer Republic Property Group has partnered with builder Scott Felder Homes to construct 127 single-family homes in Plano, Texas’ $2 billion Legacy West development, according to Steve Brown, real estate editor for The Dallas Morning News.
Republic Property will handle the utilities and streets, while Felder will build the houses ranging from 1,900 to 3,600 square feet. The new homes will start at about $500,000 and sit across the street from J.P. Morgan Chase’s new corporate campus.
“With the recent announcement of JP Morgan’s
relocation, the ongoing construction of Toyota’s new headquarters, Liberty
Mutual’s new facility, the addition of FedEx and other corporations to the
project, this location is unprecedented and is one of the best tracts of
undeveloped land for residential homes in North Texas,” Jake Wagner, co-CEO of
Republic Property, said in a statement.
