Charlotte-based Crescent Communities announced two builders for its Paddlers Cover community in Lake Wylie, S.C.: Lennar and Fielding Homes, reports Charlotte Business Journal staffer Ken Elkins.
Lennar will build homes in Summerhouse at Paddlers Cove, while Fielding, which was created by Crescent earlier this year, will build throughout the development. The community will have about 550 homes when complete, including Summerhouse at Paddlers Cove, which will have roughly 170 homes.
Lennar started construction this summer on homes in Summerhouse Meadows, ranging from 1,436 to 2,762 square feet and priced from the low $200,000s to the low $300,000s. In Summerhouse Summit, Lennar is building homes from 2,041 to 3,619 square feet and priced from the high $200,000s to the mid $300,000s.
Fielding Homes will begin selling homes at Paddlers Cove in October. In The Reserve, the home builder is building residences from 2,700 to 3,700 square feet and selling from the low $300,000s. In early 2017, Fielding Homes will start selling homes in The Enclave, priced in the mid $200,000s and ranging in size from 2,120 to 3,165 square feet.
