Luxury homes have always impressed buyers with expansive views or open floor plans decorated in the most trendy finish styles. But are homeowners now turning to the ceiling as the next point of design?
South Florida designers have found new possibilities for owners to look up to, says Andrea Stetson for The News-Press.
“A tray ceiling is just a square. This is a coffering design,” said Jeremy Sposato, owner of Sposen Signature Homes as he walked through his model home in Cape Coral. “A lot of it is with the sharing of information online; people are seeing it as an option and it’s somewhat affordable to do. It’s not crazy expensive. It’s another $1,500 to have that great crisscross in there. It’s engineered in the truss system. It’s a really great way to jazz up a home in an affordable fashion.”
