Stepler cites BLS data to note the following:

There are 40.4 million unpaid caregivers of adults ages 65 and older in the United States. Of that group, nine-in-ten are providing care for an aging relative, and a plurality is caring for a parent.

If you look at the other four key facts, you'll see that if you're in home building and development, the caregiver household, represents both huge challenge and huge opportunity, beyond multigenerational floor plans and aging-in-place features.
