The chief economist Ralph McLaughlin works on insights that apply the gross powerball take last week to the available for-sale listings in the area. Among some of the towns, 10 of them at least, a winner would be able to buy all of the inventory. McLaughlin writes:

Not only are homes cheap in these markets, but they’re also the smallest of the biggest 100 metros, so total inventory is low.
