Brennan's patio pub is a kitschy homage to music and friendship. It's decked out with a pond and a mural by Houston artist Santos Guerrero. Inside, the space is outfitted with an extensive vinyl record collection and a nearly unlimited supply of Houston's Saint Arnold Brewery beers. The brewery is a sponsor of Splice records, and regularly sends product shipments.

And, Guillen says Brennan isn't alone.
