Here are the top five states for domestic in-migration, and the top five for out-migration, according to data from Atlas Van Lines base of 77,705 interstate relocations.

The other day, we posted the United Van Lines Movers Study results, which named Oregon its No. 1 city for domestic moving destinations, and the Atlas No. 1 is, the one and the same Oregon.

Oddly, Alaska makes the Atlas list, and Florida doesn't, while Vermont makes the United list, and oil rich North Dakota doesn't. At any rate, put the data together and you've got the movers and shakers pretty well covered.

As for Oregon's sudden burst of attraction, here's CNBC's Diana Olick on the allure of the Pacific Northwest, where jobs may not grow on trees, but both jobs and trees are growing at a healthy pace.
