Pulte has finished construction on its new Del Webb activity center and will officially unveil it on Saturday, reports Albuquerque Business First staffer Stephanie Guzman.

The 550-home community is in Pulte’s Mirehaven subdivision. According to its website, Del Webb homes in Albuquerque start at $233,000.

"We have been very pleased with the popularity of the Del Webb Mirehaven community and know the opening of the amenity center will only create more excitement," Jay Gillilan, PulteGroup New Mexico division president, said. "In terms of growth, we see great opportunity and feel like we are just hitting our stride."

Gillian wouldn't disclose the number of homes sold at Del Webb, citing a company policy. However, a local market report produced by DataTraq shows 135 home building permits have been pulled for the Mirehaven subdivision in the last 12 months, ending in May. The report doesn't differentiate between the Del Webb community and Mirehaven's other single-family homes.
