Biringer Builders in Richmond Va. has consistently won top honors from local associations as one of the best builders in the area. The company builds custom homes ranging from $400,000 to $1 million in their hometown area. President and owner, Jim Biringer, now 70 years old, is preparing to take a back seat in the day-to-day operations and hand over the keys to his son and son-in-law.
The Richmond Times-Dispatch depicts the family as honest hard-workers who all work together to achieve their common goal of being the best builder in their area.
Waters, who is serving as the 2017 president for the [local] home building group, began working for Biringer in 2004. He and Valerie Biringer were dating at the time.
When her father asked Waters if he was interested in the building business, he jumped at the chance, carrying bricks for a masonry crew on his first day at the job.
“I fell in love with the building business, left graduate school and started building homes full time,” said Waters, who had his eye at one time on becoming a politician. He and Valerie, who also works in the business, were married in 2005.
