Do you know that someone who earns $316,228 is in the 1% of all income earners? How about that earning $26,756 puts you right in the middle of all income earners—at 50%?
The Wall Street Journal has an interactive graphic breaking down that salary information, among other things. The idea was hatched in 2011, according to Journal staffer Andrew Van Dam.
“We asked the question in 2011 as the Occupy Wall Street movement took shape: What percent are you? You keep coming back, so here’s a more detailed look at where you fit in our vast nation of income-earners.”
