As we head into the height of winter, Hanley Wood products guru Lauren Hunter offers these seven products to keep homeowners warm during the chilly winter months. Even old drafty homes can be turned into cozy retreats with an assortment of options including underlayments, inserts, sealants, and other special touches.

Hunter's selection on BUILDER's sister site Remodeling includes in-home products such as a towel warming rack from Amba's Radiant collection, but also features a number of exterior surfaces and insulators ideal for winter, such as Uponor's Single-zone Snow Melt Control device that melts snow and ice from exterior surfaces. The new In-Floor Heat system from HB Fuller Construction Products' TEC Skill Set brand uses infrared radiant heat technology that allows tile contractors to efficiently install heating with uniform warmth beneath tile and stone floors for winter comfort.
