The idea of "losing weight and getting fit” can be found on many people's new year resolution list in America, no matter how many times they may have failed. And a lot of times, whether a person sticks to a "fitness lifestyle" can correlate with his or her environment. To probe into where there's the best vibe for an active lifestyle, Wallethub staffer Richie Bernardo analyzes a total of 100 most populated cities in the country and compiles a list. 

The study is based on 24 key metrics to identify which cities are most helpful to keep their residents sticking to health goals. Analyzed data range from average monthly fitness club fee to the number of sports clubs per capita. Some builders might have a good chance of customer demand of custom home gyms in the following cities.

The 10 cities are: Scottsdale, Ariz., Orlando, Fla., Tampa, Fla., Cincinnati, Ohio, Pittsburgh, Pa., Minneapolis, Minn., Tucson, Ariz., Boise, Idaho, Henderson, Nev., and Madison, Wis..
