Overview

The Ogden, UT market saw a drop in new home sales in March, drawing a downward slope off of a rise in March 2010. Sales fell 30.9% from a year earlier to 85, relative to a 16.0% hike in the same month a year earlier. Out of all housing sales, new home sales represented 12.7%. A year ago, new home sales accounted for 12.1%.

Average Price of New Homes Increased in March 2011

In March, there was a 6.5% rise in the average price of newly sold homes, reaching $257,938 per unit. This rise follows a move from $243,593 per unit to $242,262 from March 2009 to March 2010.
