The developer for the 100-acre ShantiNiketan Village community in Tavares, Fla., has filed a permit to build another round of condos and a clubhouse on site, reports Orlando Business Journal staffer Rachel Williams.
Tavares-based ShantiNiketan Ashram Inc. submitted an environmental resource permit with the St. Johns River Water Management District on July 26. Prior phases included 440 condos that should be occupied by early next year.
This latest phase will include 120, two-bedroom condos.
ShantiNiketan Village is a $115 million project expected to be complete by the end of 2026, according to Rabits & Romano Architecture, the project's designer.
