HistoryMaker Homes recently opened its fifth active Houston-area development, Harper’s Preserve.
HistoryMaker’s pricing in the Conroe community is from the $260,000s, and homes range from 1,797 to 3,191 square feet. The 11 available one- and two-story designs reflect the builder’s commitment to space, choice and value, said Mickey Pizzitola, Houston Division president.
“We strive to offer our buyers as many choices as possible and our varied portfolio of floor plans in Harper’s Preserve allow them to add up to seven bedrooms — a boon for growing families,” Pizzitola said.
Last fall, HistoryMaker opened model homes in three Houston communities — Balmoral in Humble, Country Lake Estates in Spring and the Lakes at Mason Park in Katy. The builder also offers homes in Wright’s Landing in Spring, which was its entry into the Houston market.
Harper’s Preserve is located east of Interstate 45 along State Highway 242. The gated community surrounds a 160-acre forested preservation area. When complete, it will be home to 1,700 families.
Founded in 1949, HistoryMaker Homes is one of the largest homebuilders in Dallas-Fort Worth, where it builds nearly 900 homes a year. It is ranked at No. 59 on the Builder 100 list.
