The project's first structure--a community outreach center--will be completed this fall. The building will be used for hosting updates and information sessions for the local residents and potential home buyers. Located in eastern Collier County, Rural Lands West will include 10,000 homes when completed and will feature commercial, retail, entertainment, and dining amenities.
“We are looking forward to opening the Rural Lands West community outreach center this fall to host regular updates and information sessions so we can share our plans and progress with the local community,” says Minto Communities senior vice president William Bullock.
Planned in accordance with Collier County’s award-winning Rural Land Stewardship Area program, the community will provide a variety of residential choices over the next 20 years. The first phase will feature 4,000 homes and a 150,000-square-foot town center as well as 1,200 acres of parks and open spaces.
Minto is launching two additional developments in Florida: Oasis Daytona, a 55-and-better community with 3,400 residences and a private beach club located in Daytona Beach; and Westlake, a 3,800-acre community planned for 4,500 homes and two million square feet of commercial space in western Palm Beach County.
