Angela Wilson recently received her second promotion in less than a year with K. Hovnanian Homes. She has been named the land planning manager for the high desert in San Bernardino County. In her new position, she will supervise eight communities and manage a team of planning specialists and consultants for entitlement and operations purposes.
Luxury home builder Toll Brothers selected Pete Baynard as executive vice president of the builder's subsidiary, TBI Mortgage. Baynard brings with him more than 20 years of financial services experience, including time spent with GMAC-RFE, GE Capital Mortgage Corp., and First Union Corp. (Wachovia).
NVR reshuffled its management team following the decision to separate the roles of chairman of the board and CEO. Dwight Shar will continue to serve as chairman of the board while bequeathing his duties as CEO to Paul Saville. Formerly the company's CFO, Saville will be replaced by Dennis Seremet, who was NVT's controller. Robert Hanley will move up from assistant controller to take Seremet's old job.
Palatine, Ill.-based Concord Homes promoted two seasoned associates to division presidents. James Vanderploeg will take over as president of Concord's infill division while Mike Bednarek will oversee the builder's suburban division.
Leaving Comstock Homes as vice president of business development and land acquisition, Thomas Williamson joined KSI Services as project executive for land development. The company is a Washington, D.C., area real estate firm.
