Toby Bozzuto has been named as president of Maryland-based Bozzuto Development Co., a subsidiary of The Bozzuto Group.
"Toby brings a tremendous level of industry knowledge to Bozzuto Development Company," said The Bozzuto Group COO Rick Mostyn. "His innovative approach to development has been integral to the continued success of the organization, and we are thrilled to have him lead the company."
Bozzuto, son of The Bozzuto Group owner Thomas Bozzuto, moves up from the company's executive vice president position. Former president Thomas Baum will now focus on his role as president of Bozzuto Homes Inc., Bozzuto's home building operation.
Prior to joining Bozzuto Development in 2001, Toby Bozzuto served as a financial analyst with both JPMorgan Chase and Columbia National Real Estate Finance. He holds a bachelor of arts from Colgate University as well as a master of science in real estate development from New York University. He is the chair of the Urban Land Institute's Baltimore Young Leader's Group and a board member of Charles Street Development Corp.; additionally, he serves on the Catholic Charities Building Committee.
