Smart lock technology is so new that the hacking issue for some locks is still unresolved. And some smart-lock companies haven’t been able to stay in business. For example the company ambitious Goji Smart Lock, which took photos of people who entered your home and emailed or texted you the image, went out of business in December 2015 after initially raising nearly $800,000.
