Architectural Digest's Jennifer Tzeses reports that fashion icon Tom Ford has listed his modernist Santa Fe ranch for $75 million.
Designed by architect Tadao Ando, the property sits on 20,000 acres, and is one of the largest properties in Santa Fe. Ando also designed the Ground Zero Project at Memorial Park in New York, as well as the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, Texas.
The sweeping scenery boasts large pastures and even has part of the Galisteo River running through it; there’s also an airstrip, equestrian facilities, and a western movie town that was built for the film Silverado in 1985. The main residence sits on a reflecting pool and has a connecting horse barn with indoor-outdoor riding rings that feels like an architectural extension of the home. The property also includes two guesthouses designed by Marmol Radziner and separate staff quarters.
