Toll Brothers, the nation's leading builder of luxury homes, is lowering prices and introducing new, slightly smaller designs in one of its Florida communities.
Three new models range from 3,245 to 3,794 square feet have been unveiled at Wellington View, a gated community in West Palm Beach. Toll also said in a press release that "new lower pricing" has been introduced in the community. It did not specify how much prices had been lowered, and Toll's public relations agent referred a press inquiry to Piper Mandigo in Toll's Florida Southeast Division marketing department, who did not return calls at time of publication.
The new home designs include the Meliana, Moreda and Toledo, all two-story designs with four bedrooms and three-and-a-half baths and including gourmet kitchens with granite countertops, spacious covered lanais and expansive views of the nearly 80 acres of lakes and natural areas. Prices start at $384,995 for the existing 2,189 square-foot Vitta model, with the Meliana starting at $449,995 for $449,995 square feet, the Moreda at $489,995 for 3,589 square feet and the Toledo at $509,995 for 3,784 square feet. The existing Portland (pictured below) model starts at $495,995 for 3,713 square feet and the Ternbridge at $529,995 for 4,708 square feet.
The community's amenities include a clubhouse with fitness center, tennis court and tot lot.
Toll Brothers CEO Robert I. Toll in May told analysts during an earnings conference call that the company did not plan on moving into the lower end of the housing market with product for first-time and first-time move-up buyers. "We like our niche," said Toll. "We believe that luxury will continue to sell as it has since the beginning of time."
