The latest big idea from tiny home manufacturer Escape features a well-designed layout, off-grid capability, and a low pricetag.
As highlighted in this BUILDER article, the company has long been producing good-looking small homes that can be easily transported to any site. Now, with their new Vista product, they've changed the game again, according to Jetson Green's Christine Walsh. She describes all the bells and whistles of the new model.
Aspen was used to clad the interior walls, while the flooring is oak laminate. Closed cell foam was used for insulation. Customers can also opt for the add-on of a rooftop-mounted PV array, battery storage, and inverter. Air-conditioning can also be installed if desired.
The basic version of the Vista costs $39,900, but that’s just the introductory price, which will soon go up to $46,600.
