Comstock Homes of Washington, LC, a unit of Comstock Holding Companies, Inc. (Nasdaq: CHCI), has begun development of TOTTEN MEWS, a new neighborhood of luxury town homes in the Michigan Park area of Washington, DC. The home building company will build 40 homes and will begin pre-sales this fall.

Comstock closed on the property in late August, having received full entitlement from the District government earlier this year. The location in the Emerson Park neighborhood of Michigan Park is home to green spaces, mature trees, Civil War history and pedestrian trails, yet is within ½ mile of the Fort Totten Metro Station.

"Comstock is very excited about Totten Mews; it's rare to have an opportunity to build 'new' in this glorious section of Washington, DC," said Dennis Kelleher, President of Comstock Washington. "We took great pride in our Hampshires project which sold out last year, we've taken the best elements of those townhomes and add some enhancements."

Comstock's Totten Mews will offer three-story town homes up to 1,900 square feet with three bedrooms, 3 1/2 baths, featuring designer cabinets, granite counter tops and hardwood flooring, a garage, and an elevated rear porch for entertaining .
