Some of the many benefits of these cities for recent grads is that they are economically expanding, feature lower rents due to them being secondary markets, and offer the lifestyle most want. New grads may be interested in going to the number two city on the list, Dallas:

With so many high-profile companies headquartered in the area, Dallas is an excellent place for new grads to make their start. Lockheed Martin, American Airlines and Bank of America rank among the city’s largest employers. Rent prices are dirt cheap so your budget won’t be strained if you’re trying to pay down student loan debt.
