  • Renovation Repair and Painting (EPA RRP Training)

The EPA now requires anyone doing renovation work on pre-1978 homes to be RRP Certified. Contractors, renovators and remodelers can now take part of the RRP training online. After completing the online program you will still have to complete a hands-on training session with The Training Network before you can claim to be RRP Certified. The goal of this online training is to teach you the importance of using Lead-Safe Work Practices and strategies for implementing them. The training will teach the current Lead-Safe Work Practices that are recognized by HUD and the EPA as the most effective means of ensuring that persons performing interim controls, paint stabilization and maintenance on surfaces with lead-based paint are provided with the necessary skills and information to protect themselves, their family members, and nearby occupants from potential health hazards. Take the course.
