Toll Brothers Inc. (NYSE:TOL) has named David Assid president of its Houston division. Houston Business Journal reporter Paul Takahashi reports on this decision, which follows the promotion of former Houston division president Karl Mistry to the be the group president of the company’s Washington and Virginia regions.
Assid has worked for the national luxury home builder for 16 years and has been in the industry for 25 years. When he first joined Toll Brothers, Assid was a project manager overseeing the home builder’s Dallas-Fort Worth projects.
In his new role with Toll Brothers, Assid will be responsible for overseeing land acquisition, land development, sales and marketing, strategic planning, financial forecasts and customer relations in Houston.
