Red Bank, N.J.-based Hovnanian Enterprises has announced the promotion of two executives in its Northeast region offices. Thomas Piscitelli, area president, was promoted to region president of the Northeast. Piscitelli has been with the company for 21 years and has held several different positions, including construction field supervisor, project director, vice president of operations, and community builder. Hovnanian also announced the promotion of Barry Edelman, also an area president, to division president of the builder's Pennsylvania/South Jersey division. The Northeast region sells homes in New Jersey, New York, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. In Fiscal 2003, the Northeast region delivered 2,387 homes.

In related news, Forecast Homes, a K. Hovnanian Co., announced that Joseph Killinger has been promoted from project manager to high-desert district manager. In his new position, Killinger will oversee the development of multiple communities in the areas of construction management, sales and marketing, and operations. Killinger also will be focused on development in the high-desert region of the Inland Empire.

Caron Dean Shore has been hired by MBK Real Estate to serve as vice president of risk management. Shore will be responsible for the risk-management activities of MBK Real Estate and its three operating divisions: MBK Homes, MBK Northwest, and MBK Southern California.

Houston's David Weekley Homes has appointed Scott Kalman to serve as city manager of the builder's Jacksonville, Fla., operations. Kalman joined David Weekley Homes in 1994 and brings a wealth of experience to the position. Ken McDonald, former city manager, was promoted to division president of Orlando.

Bonnie Doss has been promoted to comptroller for Holiday Builders, which is based in Florida. She joined the company after holding a position with a Melbourne, Fla.-based CPA firm.
