Drees Custom Homes will begin construction of its model homes in Houston, TX’s Grand Central Park this month. Three of the builder’s nine plans are new to the Houston area, and the model home’s one-story Kentshire plan is brand new to the company.
According to Drees’ Houston sales representative, Chris Olson, the floor plans will appeal to empty-nesters looking for an active, outdoor lifestyle in Grand Central Park.
“Grand Central Park is such a unique community that we took a targeted approach based on thorough market research to decide what to build there,” Olson said in a press release. “We think many of our buyers will be coming from The Woodlands [a suburb north of Houston], and wanting something a little different.”
Four of the plans are for one-story homes, and all plans will include downstairs-level guest suites. They also include patios, glazed windows, and optional sliding-glass doors.
“Most of our home sites back to nature areas rather than homes, so we wanted to capitalize on the natural setting,” Olson said in the release.
All designs will be priced from the $410,000s.
Drees, a privately-owned custom home builder based in Kentucky, also builds homes in eight other Houston-area developments.
