Huttig Building Products Names New CFO

CHESTERFIELD, Mo. (Hanley-Wood News Service) – Huttig Building Products, Inc. (NYSE: HBP) today announced the appointment of Thomas S. McHugh as vice president of finance and CFO of the company. Mr. McHugh will replace Kenneth E. Thompson, vice president and CFO, who is retiring at the end of this month. Mr. McHugh has served as the company’s Treasurer since April 2001 and as controller since joining the Company in May 2000. Huttig Building Products is a distributor of building materials used principally in new residential construction and in home improvement, remodeling and repair work. Its products are distributed through 59 distribution centers serving 45 states and are sold primarily to building materials dealers, directly to professional builders and large contractors and to home centers, national buying groups and industrial and manufactured housing builders.
