HomeAdvisor announced today that Brad Hunter has joined the company as chief economist. Hunter brings 30 years experience as an expert in real estate, home improvement, and economic trends. In his new role, Hunter will serve as a thought leader and national expert on home improvement and housing trends, as well as be the face of HomeAdvisor's home improvement research.

builderPreviously, Hunter was chief economist and director of consulting for Metrostudy, the leading nationwide market intelligence firm specializing in tracking residential markets around the country, where he orchestrated hundreds of area-specific housing market studies over his 18 years with the firm. Additionally, he worked with federal agencies to present original research and insights on the housing industry during the depths of the housing crisis.
Hunter is a Full Member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and has authored numerous articles and chapters in books for ULI, including Market Profiles and Foreclosure Nation.
