BuildLinks, a Web-based customer management tool that lets builders and customers use an electronic calendar to manage options and selections, recently secured $2 million in second-round funding. The funding was received from Southeast Interactive Technology Funds of Durham, N.C., and IdeaEdge Venture of San Diego. BuildLinks will use the money to expand sales and marketing efforts and increase product development. Company officials expect BuildLinks to be a profitable company by the second quarter of 2003.
