Redfin, a technology-powered real estate brokerage, is launching Redfin Builder Services to help residential developers and builders sell new homes and condos faster.

Redfin leverages its network of hundreds of agents, access to multiple listing service (MLS) sales data, and proprietary database of home-buyer preferences to provide clients custom market research to inform product, pricing, and marketing decisions. Based on these insights, Redfin brings together local real estate experts with marketing, social media, and communications specialists to create an integrated sales and marketing program.

The Redfin Builder Services program will be tailored to the scale of the project, but each starts with featured placement on Redfin’s website and mobile app, exposing the properties to millions of home buyers each month, the firm says.

Redfin is launching Redfin Builder Services after success at the Vannoy Park community in Atlanta, where it sold all 26 units in less than 10 months at 99 percent of the client’s target pricing.

“The entire project sold in record time and at prices higher than the market rate we anticipated,” Nick Halaris, partner, AH Capital, a Vannoy Park investor, said in a statement.

Redfin said its first Builder Services client is the Solo Lofts, a 20-unit green condo building in Seattle, to be built by Vancouver-based InHaus Development. Pre-sales begin in January 2014.
