In April, the entry-level builder sold 341 homes, up from 267 home closings in April 2015. That represents year-over-year growth of 27.7%.
LGI, which builds in in Texas, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, New Mexico, Colorado, North Carolina, South Carolina, Washington and Tennessee, is currently selling homes in 55 communities. The builder's 1Q growth is continuation of an aggressive expansion trend over the last couple of years. It ranked as one of 2015's fastest growing public builders with 3,404 closing during the year. In 2014, it posted 2,356 sales.
