Houston-based David Weekley Homes, the nation’s largest private home builder, released the winners of its 12th Partners of Choice Award. According to the builder, these suppliers have operated at "world-class levels" through the year, and have been recognized by its supplier evaluation platform. Weekley says its "rigorous, comprehensive process" is anchored by the National Trading Partner Survey and evaluates companies in the areas of quality, service, performance in reliability, communication, timeliness, follow-through, and other areas critical to the business relationship.

Through a series of evaluations, one-on-one discussions, formalized feedback instruments, coaching sessions and action plans, David Weekley Homes uses its supplier platform to analyze national trading partners’ performance as well as their channel partners across all industries. The quarterly survey is a comprehensive review of David Weekley Homes’ supplier performance as assessed by approximately 1,000 team members from all levels within the company, and provides its trading partners an opportunity to review and improve their channel alignment and performance.

First-time recipients in 2016 are Blanco and SRS Distribution, Inc. Daniel Rucker, director of Builder Sales with SRS Distribution, said in a press release that the award is an exciting measurement of the company’s success as well as other national builder partners.
