Centerline Homes has a new director of construction. Rick Casey will take over the position for the central Florida division.
Michael Del Castillo joins the Meritage teams as the new Tucson division president. In addition, Meritage expanded Jeff Grobstein's responsibilities as regional president to include the company's active adult expansion.
Weyerhaeuser, parent company of Winchester Homes, Pardee Homes, Trendmaker Homes, and Quadrant, announced that Patricia M. Bedient has been named senior vice president for finance and strategic planning for the company.
Effective June 30, 2006, Leldon E. Echols, executive vice president and chief financial officer for Centex, will leave the company. Echols has been in the position for six years.
Kevin M. Twomey is also leaving his leadership role. Twomey, president and chief operating officer for the St. Joe Co., will retire in May.
WCI Communities faces some management shifts of its own. David L. Fry takes over as chief operating officer for the company's traditional home building and real estate services while Christopher J. Hanlon moves to chief operating officer for tower home building and senior vice president. In addition to his role as the company's chief financial officer, James P. Dietz is now WCI executive vice president. Michael R. Greenberg fills the role of the company's senior vice president.
Lewis R. Smoot Sr. recently informed M/I Homes that he will not stand for reelection to the Board of Directors at the builder's 2006 annual meeting. As a result, the Honorable Yvete McGee Brown was nominated in his place.
