Stolen Honor

In September 2004, we wrote about an organization called Homes for Our Troops (www.homesforourtroops.org) that is raising money and building homes for U.S. soldiers wounded in the American invasion of Iraq. A few weeks ago, thieves broke into a trailer in Middleboro, Mass., and stole $4,000 worth of tools that were being used to build a home for Sgt. Peter Damon and his family. Damon is a double amputee after his Iraq duty. Volunteers have appeared in local media, asking the thieves to return the tools, but so far there has been no response. Read more
