By BUILDER Magazine Staff. Bernard Drueding III, president of B.J. Drueding Builders based in Wayne, Pa., specializes in custom homes. His firm was awarded the best single-family home under $1 million dollars last year from the Main Line Builders Association and best single-family community over $1 million dollars from the HBA of Delaware and Chester Co.

Libby Elliott, partnered with her husband Matthew in their firm Elliott and Elliott Architecture, runs a 12-person firm specializing in residential and institutional projects. The firm is based in Blue Hill, Maine.

David F. Furman is president of David Furman Architecture based in Charlotte, N.C. His firm designs affordable to luxurious homes, small infill projects, and large urban and suburban communities at various densities. He recently began a new venture, Boulevard Centro in Charlotte, to focus on affordable urban housing.

Lloyd Geisinger is the managing partner of Thorndike Development Corp., based in Quincy, Mass. The residential development company was founded by Geisinger in 1983. Geisinger recently served on the board of directors of the Builders Association of Greater Boston.

Steven House is a partner with his wife Cathi in their San Francisco-based architectural firm House + House. Their exhibition, "Mediterranean Indigenous Architecture-Timeless Solutions for the Human Habitat," has traveled throughout the United States. An avid photographer, House has received more than 20 awards from the AIA in its architectural photography competition.

Kevin G. Kalman, president of Kalman Construction Corp., based in Charleston, S.C., specializes in custom homes and doing major historic renovations. Kalman Construction built the "Lifespan House" in I'on, a neighborhood in Charleston, that aired on Bob Villa's "Home Again" show in fall 2000.

Robert Prindiville formed Design Group Three, a design/build firm based in Milwaukee, in 1983. His firm has clients in Northern Wisconsin, New Hampshire, Florida, and Arizona. A registered architect, Prindiville often lectures on design/build for the remodeling industry.

Walter Richardson is chairman of the board of RNM Architects/Planners, based in Newport Beach, Calif. The firm has an international reputation for pioneering accomplishments in planned unit developments, zero lot-line, and cluster housing. He is a frequent speaker at the NAHB, PCBC, Multi-Housing World, AIA, and the ULI.
